Norton advises against Microsoft browser Edge … – PurePC.pl (Register)

> The official release of Windows 10 will take place as early as this week and probably many users are willing to accept an aliquot update. But keep in mind that the installed programs on your computer may not function properly after going to the new system – where the manufacturer has issued an update or previously adapted their program to dozens, then there should be no problems. We recommend, however, be wary of anti-virus programs that can cause the most problems in the transition to the new system. If you are using Symantec products, this system after installing the latest security software will suggest you to change the browser Microsoft Edge to another. For what reason?

The software detects that Microsoft’s latest browser does not support service extensions, which supplement analyzing web pages for malicious software will not work, which in turn will make us less protected. As an alternative recommended browser is Firefox and Internet Explorer ….

The update, to be prepared.

It is not known whether Symantec will release a patch, or will argue strenuously users of the new system that the browser Microsoft Edge is not worth so far to use. By the way, before performing the upgrade to Windows 10 can check whether installed on our computer programs are compatible with the latest system – if not, it’s worth it to uninstall the update time and only after an upgrade install again.
