The well-known manufacturer of photographic equipment published independent firmware patch (firmware) for two models of compact cameras belonging to the Quattro line, and also unveiled a new version of its software for managing and editing images Sigma Photo Pro. Introduced in the new software developments include mainly elimination of perceived errors and improve the conversion of RAW files.
New versions of system software for the camera are numbers Sigma 1.02 for dp1 Quattro model, 1.05 for the model Sigma dp2 Quattro 6.2.1 package and edit Sigma Photo Pro. All updates are designed to achieve better image quality by improving the process of converting a RAW image to JPEG in these camera models. Has been added also the option of setting the aspect ratio 7: 6, and deleted a few noticed earlier mistakes.
Additionally, in the case of digital cameras, improved speed and precision AF system, enriched functionality of devices with the ability to save information in the EXIF metadata photographs and added to the interval timer can set the time intervals between photos in a range of 4 to 8 seconds. A very important change in the case of dp1 Quattro model is also set a minimum focusing distance of 33 centimeters.
