Faster, more stable, more intuitive – SGT, an operator of digital interactive television Jambox, implements new software decoders. Jambox kyanite 5.0.0 in a refreshed layout will be available to subscribers in mid-November.
– The changes that we have introduced are clearly noticeable to the subscriber. The first and most noticeable is the change in graphic design, which is still consistent with the brand’s visual identity Jambox. We are aware of the power of habit, which is why we kept the functionality of the previous version. Thus, the user will have no problem adjusting to the new – says Lukasz Sukiennik, Director of Marketing of SGT. Will be significantly improved speed of the decoder. With increased performance decoders, not only improves the response to the pilot, but above all to move through the screens and switching channels, and the action EPG (Electronic Program Guide) is often several times faster. With JAMBOX kyanite software decoders action will be even more stable.
The changes also included facilities in the use of the remote control. In the current version of the Jambox kyanite, to use TV just so. d-pad, or a few buttons in the main area (in the shape of a plus sign). There were also a shortcut menu that gives you easy access to functions depending on the place where we currently are.
Subscriber will also recognize new access to video on demand VOD. The latest content will be visible right away, and each of them will receive a large cover graphics. What’s more, sitcoms have been grouped into seasons, so access to them, as well as to any material VOD will be immediate.
Currently, the staged update decoders. Its completion is planned for mid-November 2015. Then the new software will observe holders MAG250 HD set-top boxes, followed by the others. Decoders update automatically, and the subscriber will receive a notification about the upcoming update.

Today in Poland TV JAMBOX receives 25,000 subscribers to more than 37 thousand decoders.
