Microsoft announced just that acquired physics engine and software from Havok family, belonging to the Irish company of the same name. The previous owner was Intel, which bought it in 2007 for $ 110 million. The company Havok was founded in 1998. Developed by the first commercial version of its development tools Havok saw the light of day in 2000.
