MÓWik (Standard, Pro and Pro Plus) is a communications software and supporting alternative tablet with Android, designed for individuals with disabilities in order to mitigate or compensate for an injury, illness or disability. It is designed for people of all ages, mainly from aphasia, autism, mental retardation, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, dysarthria, who can not communicate in speech in a manner understandable to others.
A symbol set is adapted to the Polish language and our culture. It is constantly expanded, and additional symbols can be downloaded free of charge. Users can use additional free learning application and therapy (Gadaczek series MówikMemory) equipped with symbols system MÓWik, and also with teaching aids for learning Polish language system by people niemówiące.
The program features are available. al. the ability to capture and insert photos, custom graphics and images from the Internet – creating symbols, constructing whole sentences and statements, which are read by speech synthesis, the option to use the letters, so that it is possible to write information using the onscreen keyboard and read them using synthesis speech.
