Asseco Poland will supply the software for the Polish army – CHIP

Asseco Poland emphasizes that the whole project was made possible through a program of modernization and computerization of the Polish army, which is inserted just by our Ministry of Defense

The National. The program envisages spending at 2% of Polish GDP – this year it will be 38 billion zlotys.

– We are a recognized provider of solutions for the Polish armed forces, but also for the institutions and agencies of NATO and the EU. In addition, we engage in innovative projects, in which we can participate in research programs and create the technologies of the future. Examples are, among others, space programs carried out for the European Space Agency – says Przemysław Borzestowski, vice president of Asseco Poland.

The consortium, which will handle software development consists of only Polish companies that will compete together in its developed in July tender for the supply of BMS for Polish soldiers. First, the system will go to the armored vehicles Wolverines type. The current BMS systems used by our military operate across divisions and corps. The new system, developed by the consortium is to operate at the level of battalion and cooperate with individual system Titanium, which is responsible for the transmission of images from the cameras and sensors mounted on individual soldiers.
